Review: Below the Belt

I came across this little novella looking for a little diversion after I finished up a really heavy series. And it gave me just what I was looking for: an easy and fast read, light on the angst and fun in the bedroom.

The story takes place at a martial arts competition where Abe is a contestant. He meets Paris after a group of his buddies bet him he can't get laid at the reception they are attending. Of course, Abe manages to win the bet in no time flat.

Paris is attending the event with her little sister, who is also a competitor. She is drawn to Abe from the moment they meet and despite her concerns about being too easy (duh!)... she can't seem to stay away from him. The "relationship" happens at lightening speed and Abe's alpha protective thing is laughable after knowing Paris only a day or two. The romance isn't exactly grounded in reality, but the sex is fun and plentiful. 3 stars.

Glad you enjoyed it to a certain extent. I always love how some books can pull off a romance happening in just a few days that becomes very intense, while others cannot...this seems to be in the NOT category. LOL.
