Hmmm. In my story, Nick, who has been around for 800 years, has lived through a lot of history and, um, women. But he isn’t the kind of guy who would throw it in your face. He’s very sensitive to Casey and her needs. I wrote him that way because you would think after 800 years a man would finally figure it out. It’s fiction. It could happen.

The biggest complication for Casey and Nick, is his past. People from the past create a great deal of trouble for the couple. Some of that trouble is difficult to overcome. Communication is key, which is something Casey still has to teach Nick. He has a tendency to be over protective and won’t tell her things, which drives her nuts. If acid spitting demons might come after her, or nasty witches want to slice off her head, she wants to know these things. And I don’t blame her.

As for the sexual chemistry, wowza. These two have no problem in that department. They begin as friends, and I think that helps. They already know so much about one another, which is good sense the relationship has to progress quickly. The great thing is that Nick has lived for hundred of years, so he knows what he wants in a woman. And that happens to be the curvy, and sometimes shy, Casey.

There are times when she doesn’t know what to do with this man she loves, and he puts her through the ringer. But eventually she lands on top, in more ways than one. (Smile)
