You may have noticed that the m/m romance genre really seems to be picking up steam these days. Lover at Last was one of the most highly anticipated PNRs of the year.... and over at DABWAHA, Stars & Stripes is kicking ass and taking names, beating out Nalini Singh's Archangel's Storm for a spot in the final four.
I am thrilled by this development. Especially the popularity of Stars & Stripes. Abigail Roux is the gold standard for m/m romance, IMO. I love the Cut & Run books; it's one of my favorite romance series of any subgenres... and I want to share the love with you!
For no other reason than the fact that I love these books and I want you to try them, I am giving away winner's choice of any ebook in the series. The giveaway is international, anywhere I can gift a Kindle, Nook, or Kobo book.
If you're new to the series, check out my review of Cut & Run for more deets. The best part about this series: each book gets progressively better.
Convinced yet? There is no reason not to give them a try now. Or if you're already a fan, remember Touch & Geaux (aka The Soul Crusher) is out this week!

I've been reading m/m for a couple of years now. I'm glad that more people are getting into reading it. I think it's a great to have more genre's to read and why not m/m. I think m/m or LGBT romance stories are even more passionate, hotter and sexier than the m/f genre of romance stories.
ReplyDeleteI've been reading it for a while. It started as reading M/F/M or M/M/F and then went to M/M. I guess my feelings are all about the story and characters. Their sexual preference is not an issue. I just want a good story with characters that I enjoy and make me want to care about them.
ReplyDeleteI agree! If you have not read the Cut & Run series you should. They don't focus on the guys being gay but two people attracted to each other. Love it!
DeleteAfter seeing you petting one of those book in NOLA I added them to my TBR. I just need to find the time to read them. Thank you for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI am sure this is not true, but to me the feelings of the characters in M/M books are more real... reading F/M it's usually clichés after clichés. Most M/M books I've read are more raw, that's why I stick to to it.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the popularity of m/m romance. I wish we'd get more f/f as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm thrilled with it. I am a big supporter of all genres so to see this lesser read one pick up some steam is great!
ReplyDeleteI'm fairly new to M/M romance genre but I love it, it's great to see it becoming more popular! What's not to love? ;)
ReplyDeleteI've just started reading m/m books but I know already hat I want more! lol I've heard so many good things about this series lately. I'd love to read it!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read many m/m books but I used to read TONS of slash fanfiction... I think it's great that more m/m (or generally gay/queer) stories are finding their way into a more mainstream area! Thanks for the chance to win :)
ReplyDeleteI am very intrigued but I haven't tried any out yet. I honestly don't need another genre to glom. My wishlist is already out of control.
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading Lover At Last and it was my first M/M book. I enjoyed it quite a bit so I might check these books out. Thanks for the recommendation and the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI think that Lover at Last will open the door to the main stream readers that have not tried the M/M genre.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently in the middle of book 2 in the Cut & Run series, Sticks & Stones and I'm loving it.
It's not really about two gay guys. It's about two FBI agents that fall in love, they just happen to be guys.
I have been a fan of M/M for a few years now. I am so excited to see it hitting more mainstream!

I don't read that much m/m, but when I do, I love how the authors don't feel constrained with their characters, unlike m/f where the guys are always alpha, and the women are always gorgeous and perfect.
ReplyDeleteI recently read Cut & Run and loved it. It's the story and the characters that matter, not that they are m/m or m/f. We all hope to fall in love with someone no matter who we are. I will be reading more m/m and I can't wait to read book 2.
ReplyDeleteI read stars and stripes. I want this new one so so so badly. And, yeah, I've been a M/M fan for a few years now.
ReplyDeleteJust started reading m/m romance last year and love it! I think Cut & Run really help me crossover into this genre and I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of m/m and would love to see it go more mainstream. Some wonderful books out there. :)
ReplyDeleteI just started the M/M genre last year and I am loving it. I mean, there is just something about two guys that is hot as hell and just so beautiful with the romance as well!
ReplyDeleteI think that it's great to see m/m romances on the rise. I also hope it makes people more comfortable with f/f and other "non traditional" romances - and I'm not talking about the 50 Shades bandwagon. I can only hope it helps spread tolerance ... it's a big hope! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'm a newbie to m/m but I keep hearing about this series and I'm really interested.
ReplyDeleteI have read a few m/m romances and enjoyed them. I have been hearing so much about this series and can't wait to get started reading them!
ReplyDeleteI have been reading MM for a few years exclusively and I love it! I can only hope more people begin to read it. I think it really brings a new light to some of the LGBT issues of today.
ReplyDeleteI've been reading M/M romance for about 5 years now. However I've never read a M/M novel until this year when I started the Cut & Run series. I think it's good that it's becoming more popular and moving away from being taboo.
ReplyDeleteNot heard of this series until dabwaha started. Sounds like I need to start it soon. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI've been reading M/M for several years now and I love the genre. I haven't tried this particular series yet, but it's on my list!
ReplyDeleteI think it's exciting that M/M romance is beginning to reach more people. They will hopefully enjoy reading it as much as I have, and I hope it opens hearts to more love and equality.
