I am thrilled by this development. Especially the popularity of Stars & Stripes. Abigail Roux is the gold standard for m/m romance, IMO. I love the Cut & Run books; it's one of my favorite romance series of any subgenres... and I want to share the love with you!

I've been reading m/m for a couple of years now. I'm glad that more people are getting into reading it. I think it's a great to have more genre's to read and why not m/m. I think m/m or LGBT romance stories are even more passionate, hotter and sexier than the m/f genre of romance stories.
ReplyDeleteI've been reading it for a while. It started as reading M/F/M or M/M/F and then went to M/M. I guess my feelings are all about the story and characters. Their sexual preference is not an issue. I just want a good story with characters that I enjoy and make me want to care about them.
ReplyDeleteI agree! If you have not read the Cut & Run series you should. They don't focus on the guys being gay but two people attracted to each other. Love it!

ReplyDeleteI am sure this is not true, but to me the feelings of the characters in M/M books are more real... reading F/M it's usually clichés after clichés. Most M/M books I've read are more raw, that's why I stick to to it.

It's not really about two gay guys. It's about two FBI agents that fall in love, they just happen to be guys.
I have been a fan of M/M for a few years now. I am so excited to see it hitting more mainstream!

I don't read that much m/m, but when I do, I love how the authors don't feel constrained with their characters, unlike m/f where the guys are always alpha, and the women are always gorgeous and perfect.
ReplyDeleteI recently read Cut & Run and loved it. It's the story and the characters that matter, not that they are m/m or m/f. We all hope to fall in love with someone no matter who we are. I will be reading more m/m and I can't wait to read book 2.
