Seducing Mr. Wrong has never felt so right...
Prim and proper art gallery coordinator Elle Walser is no good at seducing men. Heck, she’s been throwing hints at her boss for months, but he’s completely clueless. Desperate to escape her mother’s matchmaking efforts, she comes up with a plan—buy some lingerie and climb into her boss’s bed. The plan goes brilliantly…until she accidentally seduces a sexy stranger instead.
Bad boy nightclub mogul Gabe Schultz just had the best almost-sex of his life. Too bad the smoking hot blonde thought he was his brother and bolted before he could finish what they started. Though her holier-than-thou attitude puts a serious damper on his mood, Gabe’s never been one to give up on something he wants. And he wants Elle. But does a man who lives on the dark side really have a chance with a proper lady?

The Bad Boy and the Good Girl
By Katee Robert
The bad boy and the good girl. We all love
the stories – Grease, Dirty Dancing, Tangled—because there’s nothing quite like
throwing together two polar opposites and watching the fireworks go off (we’re
going to ignore the really questionable ending of Grease).
A good portion of what
makes the sparks so hot is the element of “we shouldn’t be doing this.” The
good girl knows that, in all probability, it’s going to end in tears. Bad boys
don’t really have reputations for possessing hearts of gold. But knowing it
could end at any moment is part of what makes the time they spend together so
over-the-top. Not to mention the fact that said bad boy has probably learned a
trick or two during his questionable past (Bow-chicka-wow-wow).
So what’s the bad boy
getting from the relationship? If he’s a man worth his salt, he sees the good
girl for what she is – a freaking mythical creature. If he’s like Gabe, then he
spends the majority of his time around women who are mouthy, ballsy, and maybe
just a bit crass (*cough* like me *cough*). These women are awesome
(obviously), but there’s nothing like a splash of innocence to throw a jaded
man off his game.
Basically, both a good
girl and bad boy offer something that they can’t get anywhere else. It’s
different and new and, if they’re smart, they’ll grab onto that and hang on
forever. But the possibility of it ending in tears and an epic slo-mo explosion
only adds to the appeal.
What about you? What do
you think some of the appeal is when it comes to bad boys?

I don't know what I like best about 'bad boy/good girl' stories, but it's the truth I love them!
