I would recommend the Guild Hunter series by Nalini Singh.

I would recommend any books by Karen Marie Moning... she has like 6 or 7 books in her Highlander series that have to do with Scottish Druids from different centuries and sometimes modern women "fall" into that century and think they are going crazy lol :P Check out the reviews for her on Amazon as she's amazing :) She also has five other "darker" urban fantasy ones that have to do with Fae and tie in nicely to the highlander ones :D Both amazing series :D
